About the Duxbury Beach Triathlon
The Duxbury Beach Triathlon is a 1/2 mile swim in Duxbury Bay, 13 miles bike and 3.1 mile run. The event will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Duxbury Beach.
This course will be one of the safest and most scenic triathlons you will do all year. Police detail officers and volunteers are positioned at key points along the course.
The Duxbury Beach Triathlon will benefit the Duxbury D.A.R.E. program and multiple area volunteer groups (please contact the race director if your group can help). In addition, through the Charity Entry program, donations will be made to Mass. Special Olympics, Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy and Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation
The Kingsbury Club & Spa, a multisport training complex, located on Rt. 3A near the Kingston-Duxbury town line, is the official training center for the triathlon.

The event is estimated to draw over 750 regular triathlon participants including a Pro/Elite division, and many participants from police departments that will compete in the special "INLET" or International Law Enforcement Triathlon division. All participants will receive a race day commemorative T-shirt and goodie bag.
Anyone interested in being a corporate sponsor for this great community event should contact Brian Noyes at (781) 706-1166.
